Very quite....has a domestic and international airport. No not for planes but birds from Russia and northern Aus...short walk to the beach good for fishing or just a stroll on the sandThe lake is good for viewing birds and light fishing

A great place to see Bin Chickens (White Ibis) and other birds. When the river is low you can walk out onto the exposed riverbed/sand and see even more birds. A great place for photography.
